Yin Yoga is a passive type of yoga used to gain flexibility and reduce stress. The poses are held for an extended amount of time. Beginners can hold poses for up to 45 seconds, but more advanced practitioners can hold poses usually for 2-5 minutes, sometimes longer. It applies moderate stress to the connective tissues and increases the circulation of joints.

Yin Yoga can be of benefit to any sport practitioner in particular because of its capacity to help release this constriction of the fascia.
During this 2-hour workshop we will cover all you need to know and work through the poses so that you can learn and practice at home as well – to maintain your flexibility and help release lower back pain, frozen shoulders, tight hamstrings and more.
