Autumn is a wonderful time to turn within and nourish our bodies and minds as we welcome cooler temperatures and the beauty of this beloved season. Claudia will guide you through a series of gentle restorative yoga poses and a vibrating Tibetan bowls sound healing. This practice will soothe your nervous system, quiet your mind, and invite you to relax deeply held tension. Appropriate for all levels.
In restorative yoga, postures are held longer and blend with mindful transitions, breath and deep awareness. Restorative Yoga is rooted in supporting the body through props to provide deep rest, balancing the nerve system and release stress throughout the body.
The practice is blended with sounds from Tibetan Singing Bowls that helps the brain to move into the Theta brain wave frequencies that induce deep meditative calm, resonates with your own vibration sequences and promote a peaceful state/clarity of mind and intuition. The sound vibrations impact our nervous system, engaging our relaxation reflex and inhibiting the stress or pain response.
In this workshop we will work through the poses and sounds so that we can bring balance for the mind and body preparing for the new season with long nights and shorter days!
