Learn the Foundations of Turning Upside Down

This 2.5 hour workshop will take you through an exciting journey of inversions and arm balances. You will discover everything you need to know to turn your practice upside down.

Balancing on our feet can be challenging and tricky at the best of times and when we turn upside down and stand on our hands thats a whole other story, it can be scary and daunting but also extremely exciting.

This workshop will give you the skills and confidence to challenge yourself and give you some tools to take back into class with you.
We will start with a strong warm up and power vinyasa flow focusing on strengthening the core, shoulders that will be required for the inversions as well as the balance poses.

We will work on crow, headstand, shoulderstand and handstand. You will learn how to build up to these poses safely and build your confidence to trust yourself. And you will discover the power of your core.

This smaller group workshop will provide a greater opportunity for hands on adjustments and assistance. You’ll have the opportunity to gain insight into challenges that you may face physically in your body, whether through injury, muscle tightness or muscle weakness.
